Act Locally Scholarship

From little things, big things grow.

This year’s Act Locally scholarship application window has closed, congratulations to winner Kaci from Illinois!

The problems facing the world today can make it easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless to make a difference, but the most important opportunities to create meaningful change are just outside your door.

Action within your local community, environment, and economy can be a powerful step forward that can reverberate to the national and global level.

This is a scholarship for students and graduates who work to change the world by taking action in their local communities.

Applicants with experience volunteering or working to better their local community through social, environmental, or economic change are preferred.

To apply, please submit a 500-1000 word response to the following:

What change do you want to see in your community, the country, and the world, and how do you act locally to help make a difference?

  • Award

One student will win $500 each time the scholarship is awarded.

  • Requirements
